Look Up!

Mata Capital and Qaero Capital, co-owners of a 3,600 m² building in Paris’s 13th arrondissement, commissioned artist Tim Zdey to create a permanent 220 m² mural on the building’s west-facing gable, overlooking Rue Ponscarme.

Untitled Consulting organized a call for proposals in the spring of 2024. Tim Zdey’s design was selected by Mata Capital, the IAE Paris business school (which will occupy the premises in 2026), and the 13th arrondissement Town Hall.

“Through this work, I offer a contemporary reinterpretation of the Sorbonne’s iconic dome—a historic symbol of the institution—and illustrate the way ideas are set in motion within this temple of knowledge,” the artist explains.

We are delighted to have proposed and produced this monumental, permanent artwork, which enriches the visual and creative diversity of Paris’s 13th arrondissement and highlights the commitment of real estate and education stakeholders to emerging creative talent.
